Abstract
781,075. Conveyers. GREBE, K. June 25, 1954, No. 18773/54. Class 78 (1). In a conveyer in which the conveying element consists of an endless band or a relatively short member provided with supporting or guiding rollers engaging a rail track, the track is built-up of rail lengths 5 provided at their ends with attachment elements 4 which engage attachment elements 2 on each side of an intermediate rail section 3 supported by a cross-bar 1 of the conveyer frame structure. The elements 4 each have a dovetail recess 4a which engages a correspondingly shaped spigot member 2a on the elements 2, the elements 2, 4 being locked in the assembled position by a pin 6 passed through a hole 16 in the element 2 and engaging the rear face of the element 4. The cross-bar 1 may be secured by clamp sleeves 7 to rods 9 slidably received in pillars 10 and held therein in an adjusted position by clamp sleeves 8. In a modification, Fig. 3, alternate rail lengths 13 are secured to cross-bars 1 at each end and are provided with attachment elements 12 which engage attachment elements 4 at the ends of the adjacent rail lengths.
