Abstract

1,112,369. Endless conveyers. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHœTTE WESTFALIA. 12 Nov., 1965 [15 Dec., 1964], No. 48085/65. Heading B8A. A scraper conveyer 10 comprises scraper irons 2 attached unilaterally in pairs to an endless chain 1 and passes through a curved angle station provided with respective coaxial deflecting rollers 15 mounted on a spindle 16. The part of the conveyer channel forming the curve comprises two guide members 19, 20 with respective sections 17, 18 formed in segment fashion. Similar guide members 19<SP>1</SP>, 20<SP>1</SP> with sections 17<SP>1</SP>, 18<SP>1</SP> are provided for the lower run of the chain 1. Section 17 overlaps section 18 and the angle of the curve can be adjusted by pivoting the sections 17, 18 about the spindle 16, retaining the desired setting by passing a bolt 28 through holes in the members 19, 20, 19<SP>1</SP>, 20<SP>1</SP>.
