960,133. Endless conveyers. A. &C. JENNER Ltd. March 27, 1963 [April 13, 1962], No. 14389/62. Heading B8A. An endless conveyer belt is supported on a pair of identical tapered rollers 2, 3 of which the axes are mutually at right angles, the belt being driven by a chain 8 connected to the belt by regularly spaced metal strips 13 which are welded to the chain and secured by swivelling links to the upper surface of the outer circumference of the belt. The chain is guided by grooved guides 9, 10 and passes round chain wheels 11, 12. Tensioners 14, 15 are fitted between the conveyer framework and the bearings carrying the roller shafts.
