Abstract
780,933. Regulating. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES. Jan. 25, 1956 [Jan. 25, 1955], No. 2527/56. Class 7(6) [Also in Group XXXI] A throttle valve control pedal 6 pivoted at 5 is connected by a link 9 to one arm 10 of a bell-crank lever 12 pivoted at 11 on the cylinder head, the other arm 13 of which is connected by a link 14 to the throttle valve lever 16, and the lever 12 is arranged so that on opening of the throttle valve the lever action of the arm 10 decreases and that of the arm 13 increases whereby equal angular movements of the pedal in the throttle opening direction are converted into unequal and progressively increasing angular movements of the throttle valve. The link 9 is connected to the pedal arm 7 through a rubber roller 8 and a stop 20 on the arm 13 abuts the link 14 when the throttle valve is closed and prevents the arm 13 and link 14 from moving into straight line relationship.
