Abstract

Alloys of Mg with Zr and rare earth metals have the following composition. Rare earths 2.0-6.0 per cent. Zr 0.01-0.05 per cent Mg the remainder the rare earth metals in the final alloy having the composition La 25-35 per cent. Pr. 8-12 per cent, Ce 2-10 per cent, Sa 0.5 per cent, Nd 40-65 per cent. Specification 761,324 is referred to.
