Abstract

A corrosion-resistant zirconium alloy has the following composition: Cu 0.125-0.5 atomic %, Sn 0.5-2 atomic %, Zr and impurities, the remainder. The impurities may be those in commercial Zr sponge except that nitrogen should not exceed 0.02% by weight.
