Abstract
A welding electrode is of ferritic steel containing more than 6 per cent and preferably more than 13 per cent chromium and not more than 0.5 per cent carbon with or without, up to a total of 6 per cent, one or more of the carbide forming elements, molybdenum, titanium, vanadium, tungsten, tautalum, niobium and zirconium.
