Abstract

1,162,562. Steel. STAHLWERKE SUEDWESTFALEN A. G. Sept. 30, 1966 [ Oct. 2, 1965], No.43776/66. Heading C7A. Cold rolled strip or sheet is made from a stainless ferritic steel comprising:- C present up to 0À1% Cr 14 - 20% Al 0À08 - 0À3% and optionally Mo up to 1À5%, the balance, apart from impurities such as conventional amounts of Mn, Si, P and S, being iron. The steel containing Mo is claimed to be novel. In the example the steel also contains 0À24% Ni and 0À0403% N.
