1278869 Low alloy steel JONES & LAUGHLIN STEEL CORP 14 July 1970 [16 July 1969] 34098/70 Heading C7A Killed, high strength, low alloy steel, comprises: - the Zr content (when present) being at least 0À02% + 6.5 (%N), and sufficient Al to give a killed steel, the balance, apart from impurities, being Fe; and has been hot rolled with a finishing temperature of 1550-1650‹F. and then cooled at a rate of 20- 135F‹/sec. to 1025-1175‹F.
