Ferritic stainless steel comprises: - Al over 1À5% to less than 3% Cr 16-19% Si 0À5% to less than 1À5% Ti/Nb 0À15-0À8% C up to 0À1% Mn up to 1% N less than 0À05% and Ni up to 0À35% the balance, apart from impurities such as up to 0À04%P and up to 0À03%S, being Fe. Cold rolled strip of the steel may be annealed at 1650‹ F.
