Abstract
1313896 Low carbon ferritic steel ARMCO STEEL CORP 7 July 1970 [23 July 1969] 32910/70 Heading C7A A steel consists is percent by weight of: Cr: 14-18 C : up to 0À006 Fe and incidental Impurities : balance. The steel is stated to have non ridging properties. The incidental impurities may be: N 0À04-0À09 Mn up to 1 Si up to 1 P up to 0À04 S up to 0À03 Ni 0À42-0À56 The alloys may be hot rolled at 955 or 1120C., optionally strip normalized at 1120C., box annealed at 845 C cold rolled strip annealed at 800C. and pickled the last three operations being repeated.
