Abstract

775,292. Hand-trucks. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. March 4, 1953 [March 4, 1952], No. 6007/53. Class 108(1). A trolley on which is removably mounted a tank type suction cleaner 1, comprises a platform base 6 on casters 8, Figs. 1 and 5, a bumper ring 11, spring arm clamps 12 hinged or rivetted to the base, and a resilient cushion ring 23. The clamps 12 are provided with hooked ends 20 which are engageable with a shoulder 3 or lugs on the tank when it is lowered on to the trolley, and may be hinged to the base 6 on pins 14. The edges 19 of the clamp openings prevent hinging of the clamps past the vertical, the clamps folding down on to the base when not in use,
