A trolley to facilitate moving a suction cleaner of the type having a cleaning tool connected through a rigid suction tube and a hose to a casing containing a filter and a motor fan unit, comprises a body 40 with base 41 which has downward turned ends to receive a shaft 43 carrying a pair of wheels 44. A pair of hooked lugs 45 project from the base ; each lug carries a boss. Between the lugs 45 is provided a sloping arm 49 carrying resilient pad 50. A plate is riveted to the base and curves down to terminate in a resilient hook 59. The rear wall 52 with stiffening flanges 53, terminates at its upper end in a locking tongue 54, provided along one surface with a wedge shaped flexible liner 55. Tongues 56 and 60 are bent out and upturned, to form hook 57 and pocket. The spherical casing 11 is raised from the cleaner base, and the trolley inserted so that its base 41 is placed on annular ridge 26 with resilient pad 50 bearing against sloping wall 25. The bosses on lugs 45 engage two of the openings 32 between the hinge and latch members connecting the spherical casing to the cleaner base, the resilient hook 59 engages under the flange 28 to lock the trolley in place, the wheels 44 are then spaced just above the floor. When the casing is replaced on the base, flange 20 provided on the lower half of the casing engages hook 57 and locks the upper portion of the trolley to the casing. The supply cable may be wound into a coil and placed into the pocket. The cleaning tool is provided with an adaptor 73 which is formed with a downwardly opening pocket 75, the mouth 76 being shaped to conform to the locking tongue 54. The wand 15 may be used as a handle to tilt the cleaner backwards until it is supported on wheels 44, to enable it to be wheeled about.
