733,631. Golf bag carriers. HEALEY, C. J. Nov. 12, 1953 [Sept. 9, 1952], No. 22630/52. Class 108 (1). A golf-club carrier comprises a rectangular-sectioned body, Fig. 2, divided into two parts 2 and 3 which may be opened out along an edge 4, and brackets 5 carrying pivoted struts 6, 7, Fig. 4, held in line by sliding sleeves 8 and mounting wheels 9 braced together by a pivoted strut 10. The strut 10 may be resilient or incorporate springs to give independent suspension to the wheels, or may be replaced by a bar in contact with the bases of the parts 2 and 3 and by a rubber band in contact with the bases and the corners 21, 3<SP>1</SP>. A handle 12 pivoted to the part 2 may be folded to lie within that part, or may be pivotally secured to one of the brackets 5. The body has pockets 13 for golf clubs 14 and is provided with a latch to hold the parts 2 and 3 together when collapsed. In a modification, the struts 7 may telescope within the struts 6, and connections may be made between the corners 2<SP>1</SP> and 3<SP>1</SP> for strengthening the structure when in the open position.
