Abstract
792,826. Cardboard carrier-bags. ROBINSON, Ltd., E. S. & A. Feb. 10, 1956 [Feb. 11, 1955], No. 4209/55. Classes 94(2) and 133. A cardboard carrier comprises a rectangular base 1, two opposed sloping walls 2, and two opposed low walls, with a gusset 7 between each adjacent wall, the two low walls closing the wider ends of the triangular spaces between the sloping walls 2. A cord 15 is threaded loosely through mating holes 12 in a turned-down flap 6 and one side 2, a flap 5 is tucked between the flap 6 and inturned side flaps 4 and another cord 13 is threaded through a cardboard sleeve 14 and loosely through mating holes in the other side 2 and other side flaps 4 turned in therefrom. The sleeve 14 forms a handle when threaded into the cord 15. In a modification, Fig. 4, the low walls are made inset by stapling a hinged panel at 21, holes facilitating folding.
