Abstract

517,787. Bags, pouches &c. KARPELES, O. Aug. 4, 1938, No. 23093. [Class 133] A bag or pouch is provided with a paii of flaps adapted to be folded to cover the mouth opening and adapted also to embrace the adjacent sides, Fig. 3 shows a form in which twc similar flaps 12 are provided as extensions of or attachments to strips 11 provided along the edges of the mouth of the receptacle 10, one flap being shown nearly closed and the other one almost ir open position. The flaps may have stiffening pieces 14 and U - shaped opening springs 15 are provided for one or both flaps. Fig. 6 show! a form which is closured by a long flap 16, similar ir construction to the flaps 12 of Fig. 3, and a small shortened flap 17, both adapted to fold in the same manner as those flaps.
