Abstract

344,945. Hand-trucks. HERSHMAN, M., 223, Bury New Road, Manchester. Dec. 16, 1929, No. 38439. [Class 108 (i).] In hand-trucks for buckets &c. of the kind comprising a base board mounted on castors and provided with means for engaging the bucket the means for engaging the bucket comprise hooks or like members engaging over the rim of the bucket and connected to the base member by tension springs. As shown the hand-truck comprises a base 1 provided with castors 4 and having an upstanding rim 2. Hook-like members 7 having tension springs 10 are provided for engaging the bucket 6 and the rim 2 could in addition be provided with a rubber tube or the like. A rack 14 for cloths &c. and an anchoring chain 13 are provided.
