336,118. Walker, F. H. Oct. 26, 1929. Hand-trucks; hand-carried vehicles.-A barrow or hand-truck having a horizontal frame especially for garden use is adapted to be converted into a seat and may also be used as a hand-carried vehicle. The truck comprises a horizontal frame 10 having at its ends two pairs of uprights 12, 14 each pair being connected at their upper ends by transverse bars 13, 15 constituting arm rests. The lower ends of the uprights 12, 14 constitute supports and bearings for the wheel 17 or wheels. Handles 18 are pivoted at each end to the uprights, the handles pivoted to the uprights 14 serving as supports when the truck is used as a seat and also in conjunction with the other handles when the truck is a hand-carried one. Inclined spaced supports 21 are provided on the uprights into which a seat back 22 is slid. A box or container 26 is supported in the frame and may be pivoted thereto in order that it may be tipped for unloading. The box may have inclined spaced supports 27 into which a seat back may be slid when the box is upturned to serve as an additional seat.
