Abstract

365,207. Hand-trucks. TODD, M. E., Bole Hall, Tamworth, Staffordshire. Oct. 22, 1930, No. 31682. Addition to 322,881, [Class 108 (i), Road vehicles, Body details &c. of]. [Class 108 (i).] In the trolley for milk churns and the like described in the parent Specification the frame comprises two lengths of strip or other metal connected together by cross members, some of which conveniently form the handle, adjustable supports and wheel carriers. The side frames 1 are formed of strip metal, their medial portions 1b being parallel and their upper ends diverging and bent rearwardly and their lower ends 1c diverging and carrying the axle 4. The medial portions are connected by cross members 2 upon which supports 7, 8 for the handle of the churn may be hooked. The upper portions may be connected by a handle 3. A curved portion 9 for engaging the churn is mounted as shown. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which the parallel portions 13 are reinforced by strips 11 to carry the axle 12 while the curved support 15 is pivoted to adapt itself to the churn. The side members may be of tubular, angle, or T-section.
