Abstract

356,412. Handles. WIGGIN, W., Lynton, Stafford Road, Bloxwich, Staffordshire. July 30, 1930, No. 22961. [Class 52 (i).] A grip or handle, particularly for the use of passengers in vehicles, is formed in the main from two metal strips, of which the outer one A is of substantially quadrant shape with extended ends a for attachment to a seat or other support, while the inner strip B fits closely within and is united to the rounded portion of the strip A and has its ends b bent inwardly to meet each other. The ends b are preferably connected by one limb c of an angle strip C, the other limb d of which extends in the plane of the handle and serves as an additional means of attachment of the handle to the support.
