Abstract

475,435. Hand trucks. NOTTINGHAM CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, Ltd., and HODGES, J. M. July 30, 1936, No. 21068. [Class 108 (i)] A truck or trolley having a wheeled frame is provided with one or more members adapted to constitute goods carriers extending laterally from the frame. As shown the hand truck consists of a main control frame comprising two side framed plates 14 and end plates 15, a single wheel 22 mounted between said side plates 14 on an axle carried by members 20, frame members 17 which are projected rearwardly to carry a handle 18 and also serve to support a goods tray 19, and lateral frames comprising a tray 30 or other goods carrying means having frame members 27 .. 29 supported by stays 32, 33 wheel 35 and leg 37. These lateral frames may be folded up against the main frame when not required. Lateral containers 38 are also provided. The truck may be used for milk distributing purposes and the truck may bo carried at the rear of a vehicle if desired by means of hooks engaging the handle rubber blocks 42 being provided on the truck frame to prevent damage to the truck.
