Abstract

415,837. Hand trucks. WILKINSON, G. A., 67, Grange Road, Dudley, Worcestershire. March 27, 1933, No. 9141. [Class 108 (i).] In platform or bin trucks of the kind which are provided at one end by a turntable and a draw bar, the turntable is omitted and a bracket is provided adapted to be engaged by a separator wheel unit having a draw bar. As shown a platform 10 is provided with rear wheels 11 and front supporting legs 12 and a bracket 15 having a socket 16 adapted to be engaged and raised by a wheel unit comprising a member or casting 19 provided with a shank 24, projections 26, 27 and a draw bar 23. The projection 26 serves as a pedal to facilitate raising of the platform 10 while the projection 27 serves to enable the draw bar to be kept upright when the wheel unit is disengaged.
