[Class 108 (ii).] A side-car frame is constructed of a single length of tubing a bent into U-form, the free ends of the frame being suspended from the bicycle in the vertical central plane of the latter. The frame is bent upwardly at the axle of the wheel e to permit the ends of the frame carrying the transport box g to be placed as low as possible. The rear end of the frame is suspended from the rear of the bicycle by straps c, d and the forward end is stepped as shown to give clearance for the pedal. The side-car frame may be turned up into the central plane of the cycle for storage purposes.
