Abstract
192,700. Dal Vero, C. Jan. 31. 1922. [Convention date]. Tri-cars and the like; articulated road vehicles.. -A motor-bicycle is converted to a three-wheel motor vehicle by removing the rear wheel and attaching a two-wheeled structure in the form of a cage carrying the body and enclosing the bicycle frame. The additional frame comprises a bar 1, V shaped at the rear and V shaped at the front, where it is bent upwardly and connected by a bar 3 to a fork 4. An arched member 5 is connected to the rear of the fork 4 and to the front end of a bar 6 running to the rear of the frame 1. The bar 6 is connected intermediately of its length to an arch member 9 from which depend vertical members adapted to be connected to the bicycle rear forks. The bicycle frame is connected to a cross member 15 on the additional frame and to inclined rods 14, the other ends of which are connected to the frame 1 at the points where the cross-member 15 and arch 5 are also connected. The motor bicycle may drive the additional wheels 8 through a change-speed gear 19 and chain.
