Steering-mechanism.-Cycles and like vehicles are provided with propelling-mechanism comprising alternately - acting reciprocating treadles geared to the rear wheel, in combination with pads &c. adapted to actuate the steering-gear and to be engaged by the knees of the rider during the operation of the treadles, whereby handlebars may be dispensed with. As shown, steering is effected by means of knee-pads d connected to the crown e of the front fork by links f.
