Abstract

A tricycle driven by hand operated cranks for use by invalids or for amusement, has a saddle (26) located on a longitudinal member (19) midway between the wheels (30) with the cranks (17, 18) each side carried by a cross member (8A) and the third wheel (31) located behind the rider. The feet of the rider rest on a cross bar (25) at the front to which are attached two control wires (24) which cross and are attached to another cross bar (23) at the rear which control the steering, springs (25) being fitted each side at the rear to carry out a return movement. The tricycle may be attached to the rear of a conventional bicycle by a special fitting, to be drawn along by it. A brake (27) can be actuated by the knee.
