Abstract

210,368. Rhodes, G. O. Aug. 2, 1923. Stands and tilters. - A combined barrel truck and supporting rack comprises two bent tubular arms 10, 11, Fig. 2, connected by curved portions 12, a rigid frame 16, and a detachable handle 18. The rack is pivoted at 14 to a supporting frame 20 having wheels 21 and connected to the frame 16 by means of a link 24 having a spring-controlled latch 26, Fig. 8, and links 33 pivoted to a plate 34 secured to the frame 20. To load or unload a barrel, the latch 26 is released allowing the frame 20 and links to assume the position shown in dotted lines in Fig. 2, when the rack may be rocked on the curved portions 12 of the tubular arms to bring the arms 10 to rest on the ground. The barrel may then be slid or rolled off or on.
