Abstract

1,028,064. Suction cleaners. NATIONAL UNION ELECTRIC CORPORATION. Dec. 29, 1964 [Dec. 31, 1963], No. 52720/64. Heading A4F. A suction cleaner comprises upper and lower casing sections 14, 12 and a tool carrier 60 removeably supported in the lower casing, the tools being accessible upon opening the upper casing. The carrier 60 is in the form of a tray provided with feet portions 63 for resting on a floor 41 in the cleaner and with a number of depressions 65a-69a for receiving the various tools; the tools may be retained in the tray by means of elastic straps so that the tray, when removed from the cleaner may be hung on the wall. The hose may be secured by clips to the underside of the tray. The upper casing 14 is hinged to the lower casing and is latched thereto by a spring-loaded catch 30.
