773,745. Suction cleaners. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. July 25, 1955 [Aug. 14, 1954], No. 21409/55. Class 8(1) A suction cleaner.of the horizontal cylinder type has accessory holding means e.g. spring clips 20, Fig. 1 mounted on a plate 18 conforming to the curved junction of the upper and side faces of the cleaner casing 10 and detachably secured thereto by engagement of an axially projecting tongue 24, Fig. 2 with a recess 25 in a casing end frame 12 and by a movable locking slide bar 26 engaging an externally accessible recess 30 in the other end frame 11. Instead of spring clips_ suction cups may be used.
