740,134. Suction cleaners. VAN DER HEEM N. V. June 4. 1954 [Aug. 26, 1953], No. 16553/54. Class 8(1). A suction cleaner comprises a handle 3 pivoted at 2 on the casing 1. The handle is secured at the other end by a latch 7 and when in this position clamps dust bag cover 6 in position through a buffer 8 interposed between the cover 6 and handle 3. A hose connection 5 integral with the cover 6 is disposed between legs 4 connecting the handle 3 to the pivot 2.
