823,288. Letterbox door plates. LILLY & SONS Ltd., B. Nov. 18, 1957 [Jan. 7, 1957], No. 571/57. Class 18. The rear face 1 of a door plate has secured thereto two fixed channel members 9 or cranked plates, each channel member 9 housing a head portion 15a, Fig. 4 (not shown), of a fixing member 15 extending out through a closedended slot 10 in the channel member such that the distance between the fixing members 15 can be varied in the direction of the length of the letter aperture by sliding them along their respective slots.
