Abstract

940,275. Spectacle frames. C. STOCK. March 1, 1961 [March 1, 1960], No. 7294/60. Heading G2J. A pair of spectacle frames is provided on the side members 2 and/or the front member 1 thereof with trim mountings which each comprise a plate e.g. 7 or 8 so shaped in its cross-section as to provide between the frame and itself means for detachably engaging complementary means formed in the trim. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 the plates 7, 8 have inwardly inclined edges 10 which provide a dovetail fit with complementary grooves in a trim. As shown in Fig. 8 one or more of the plates 30, 31 (in this case 31) may be spaced from the side arm 2 by its sides 33 and is provided with rivets which are engaged by spring part 44 on a trim 41 (Fig. 10).
