A spectacle frame comprises a lens receiving frame 1 which is supported for vertical adjustment on a support frame 4 having a nose bridge 5 and side arms 7. The frame 1 maybe movable in slots 10 in the support frame at the temple ends thereof and be resiliently held by a spring and washer device.
