769,126. Transformers, rectifying. ROCHAR ELECTRONIQUE. Feb. 28, 1955 [June 21, 1954], No. 5920/55. Class 38 (2). In a voltage multiplier such as is shown diagrammatically in Fig. 1, the capacitors 1, 2 are formed by the conductors 14, 15 and insulation 16 of concentric cables 12 arranged as the secondary windings of a mains supply transformer 9, the conductors 14, 15 acting as half turns to supply heater current to the cathodes of the valve rectifiers 17. The high voltage terminal may be negative, Fig. 2, or positive, Fig. 3 (not shown).
