Class 61 In a pulling tool for removing bearings &c. from shafts, and comprising a body member 10, a screw - threaded thrust block or shaft 11 passing through the body and two or more pivoted arms 14 carried by the body, a stirrup 18 is provided for locking the arms to the bearing &c. with which they are adapted to engage. As shown, the stirrup is pivoted to one arm 14 at one of the spaced mounting points 23 and carries a threaded bolt 21 having a conical end for engagement with one of the corresponding seats 24 in the other arm 14. The arms' are spring-biased into open position.
