[Also in Groups XXV and XXVI] The reaction engine 10 is universally mounted in aircraft 11 by the members 12, 14. The engine is pivoted to member 12 or bearings 12c on the axis 12b, while the track 16, on the engine, engages rollers 15 carried on 14 at the opposite ends of axis 12a. Four load bearing points are provided on both the aircraft and engine and the engine position may be controlled by two jacks fixed to the aircraft structure.
