A screw locking-device comprises a plate b having a number of screwed holes b<SP>1</SP> for the screws a to be locked, which screws engage 'screwed holes c<SP>1</SP> in a member c, and a binding screw d inserted through said plate to engage the member, so that when the screw is tightened the other screws are secured against accidental movement. The screw d may pass through a plain bore in the plate to engage a screwed bore d<SP>1</SP> in the member or, alternatively, engage a screwed bore in the plate and abut the surface of the member. In another arrangement, the holes c<SP>1</SP> are tapped to receive externally-screwed units which are engaged by the screws a.
