Class 44 The housing 4 of a band-clip of the kind tightened by a worm screw 5, is made in one piece, and the screw has a head 6 adapted to take the main tightening thrust by bearing against the end of the housing, and is held in place in the housing by a projection 11 which is pressed in from the wall thereof and engages in a groove or shoulder 10 in or on the screw and thus takes the back thrust when the clip is opened. The projections 11 are stamped in the wall of the housing 4 as shown in Fig. 2.
