Abstract

778,286. Clamp fastenings; bolts &c. LUDTKE, H. T. Dec. 29, 1954 [Dec. 30, 1953], No. 36183/53. Classes 44 and 89 (1). [Also in. Group XXXVI] A terminal or other clamping screw 14 has a clamping member 15 captive therewith and comprising a U- shaped member the arms of which fit closely along the shank of the screw, the ends thereof being bent in opposite directions and curved to fit into a groove beneath the screw head. When the screw is fitted in a socket, the arms of the clamping member engage slots in the wall thereof so as to prevent them rotating with the screw, wires being clamped between the base of the clamping member and the bottom of the socket.
