Abstract
689,995. Stud and socket fastenings. TRICOFOLBERTH, Ltd. Oct. 4, 1951 [Dec. 22, 1950], No. 31258/50. Class 44 Means for attaching an article to a support comprise two parts, one of which is a U-shaped member of which the free ends of the arms are extended laterally outwards, and the other of which is a frame having inclined surfaces with which the lateral extensions on the arms of the U-shaped member are adapted to co-operate. The U-shaped member 1, Fig. 1, for example, having arms 4 with lateral extensions 57, is fixed to the article 3, and engages with a frame 6, Fig. 2, having side walls 7 with inwardly projecting parts 12, 13; gapped at 14, 15, and having inclined surfaces 16, 17 against which the extensions 5 on the member 1 are pressed by means of a screw 18 in the upper wall 8 of the frame.
