1328000 Stabilized 1,1,1 - trichloroethane CENTRAL GLASS CO Ltd 22 Dec 1971 [26 Dec 1970] 59684/71 Heading C2C [Also in Division C5] 1,1,1-Trichloroethane is stabilized against decomposition by metals by the addition of 1,4-dioxane, acrylonitrile, an alkyl acetate and a nitroalkane. C 1 -C 5 alkyl acetates and C 1 -C 3 nitroalkanes are specified. The solvent contains 0À1 to 5À0% wt. of 1,4-dioxane, 0À01-1À0% wt. of acrylonitrile, 0À05 to 3À0% wt. of alkyl acetate and 0À05 to 3À0% wt. of nitroalkane.
