755,984. Wrenches; screwdrivers. GRIFFITHS, S. L. June 22, 1954 [Feb. 13, 1954], No. 4304/54. Class 61 [Also in Group XVII] A hand tool for tightening and slackening bungs or the like formed with tool-receiving recesses, comprises relatively adjustable plates mounted at one end of an operating handle and abutted together face to face, the edges of the plates being so shaped that they provided either singly or in a combination, a number of keys of rectangular or square cross section of different sizes. As shown a brace handle 3 has an end portion located at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the handle and provided with a stud. The plate 1 has a square hole 4 which fits on a square portion 5 of the stud. The plate 2 which is angularly adjustable with respect to the plate 1, has a circular opening 6 which engages with a round portion 7 of the stud, the outer end of the stud being screw threaded at 8 to receive a holding nut 9. The plates are adjusted to provide aligned key portions as 13 for engaging in recesses in bungs, or the edges as 11, 14, 15 may be used singly when the plate 2 is turned through a right angle. In a modification a lever handle is provided.
