[Also in Group XXX] A snow-plougl attachment com prises a housing 1: having an open front to receive snow and a discharge passage at the rear and a rotor 20 with oppositely disposec helical conveyer sec tions 35, 36, the sections each com prising a number oi helical blades 40<SP>1</SP> spaced by openings 40 between which air and snow may pass to prevent accumulation of snow on the central portion of the rotor. An impeller is formed by the portions 38 of each blank forming the conveyor sections. A hood 27 is adjustable to control the direction of the discharge of the snow. The attachment is carried on a lawn mower. The impeller can be omitted from the rotor and mounted in a housing disposed rearwardly of the rotor which delivers the snow thereto. The impeller may rotate on a horizontal axis at right angles to the rotor, or may rotate on a horizontal axis parallel to that of the rotor. The rotor and impeller are driven simultaneously.
