Abstract

911,439. Rotary-scythe mowers. BURNDEPT Ltd. June 1. 1960 [March 31, 1959], No. 10896/59. Class 6(3). In a rotary-scythe mower of the type having blades 7 on arms 6 extending radially from a vertical shaft 5, curved guards 8 are provided on the ends of the arms to sweep away stones from the path of the blades. The guards taper towards their hooked free ends. The mower has four wheels 2 and a small engine 4 driving the shaft 5.
