Abstract

778,786. Agricultural implements. ITALDOZER SOC. PER AZIONI, and MAJANO, L. Jan. 17, 1955 [June 4, 1954], No. 1407/55. Class 6(1). An implement for a rotary hoe comprises a working member A fixed to an arm E secured by a disc 5 to a rotor shaft B, the working member having a sharpened edge C and being convex over at least the forward part o: its surface remote from the rotor, the convex surface being generated by a line parallel to the rotor axis and moving in a logarithmic spira having the rotor axis as its pole. As shown the cutting edge is sharpened on the inner face t of the member and is parabolic or ogival in plan. The arm B is secured to the centre of the member A but the member may be provided with an arm at one or both sides. When the rotor is provided with a plurality of implements they are arranged in staggered or zig-zag relation.
