Abstract

The chopper rotors are on vertical axes in the frame and so arranged that when working they deliver the crop into the machine unaided. An additional rotor can be provided, on an axis intersecting that of the first one or more, and mounted behind them, the angle of intersection being 90 deg. Where two rotors are used, they can cover contiguous areas, and a deflector board can be provided to work in conjunction with them, parallel to the axis of one, and in front of it in the direction of travel.
