Abstract
749,684. Lubricating. ROLLS-ROYCE, Ltd. Dec. 3, 1953 [Dec. 12, 1952], No. 31617/52. Class 12 (3). [Also in Groups XIII, XXVI and XXIX] To prevent the formation of ice in the fuel system, the fuel is heated by lubricating oil. In the arrangement shown, the fuel is heated in a heat exchanger 64 connected in the engine oil system between the main oil pump 65 and the oil delivery pipe 66. The oil storage tank 67 is fed with oil by an oil scavenger pump 68.
