Abstract

736,430. Cooling grills. NIEDERER, J. Nov. 28, 1952 [Nov. 28, 1951], No. 30255/52. Class 28 (1). Grill bars 1 at the top of a casing 3 open at top and bottom are heated by perforated combustion gas pipes 6 which are masked by hoods 16 to distribute the heat. The gas pipes lead to a central socket pipe 9 which is merely placed over any gas supply pipe 8 from a gas container 7 or from a gas supply pipe of a gas cooker when removed from its burner. The socket pipe 9 has air inlets 10. A drip pan 17 is supported on a rotatable boss 11 at the top of the pipe 9, the height being adjustable by rotating 11 whereby a pin 19 on 9 moves the cam slot 12 in the boss 11, or by an ordinary screw thread. The drip pan 17 may be coupled to the hoods 16 to adjust them towards or from their gas pipes 6. The grill casing 3 rests on collapsible feet 20.
