527,561. Portable cooking stoves. ROEMER. C. W. DE. April 14, 1939, No. 11424. Addition to 411,531. [Class 126] The portable cooker of the parent Specification is adapted for use with gas or oil burners by forming one or more series of apertures 27 in the stand 11 and a larger aperture 28 for the burner inlet and by positively locating the burner within the cooker by means, e.g., of burner feet 21 resting within depressions 22 in the plate covering the heat insulating material 14 or of wall brackets embracing and supporting the burner. As shown the latter is a gas ring 20 with the tap and air regulator on the outside of the aperture 28 protected by a cowl 31. A rotatable or sliding ventilator to which the lid handle 24 may or may not be connected is provided on the lid. The latter may be lined with heat insulating material.
