188,181. Mottram, A. H. Oct. 20, 1921. G a s stoves; baffles; gas cooking - stoves. - A gas heating stove comprises a cylindrical casing a open at both ends and having a flange b at its lower end. A base plate o is spaced from the lower end. of the casing by tubular pieces r through which pass tierods s. The upper end of the casing is closed by a plate c having two cylindrical flanges f, g and a ring of perforations d, and by a plate j, the opening k of which is fitted with a cover l. A removable cast iron baffle plate 8 is supported on lugs 9 above a burner 2 which is connected to a Bunsen jet 3. A cooking utensil may be heated on the plate j, or on legs 10 provided on the baffle 8. In a modification the flange b is dispensed with, and the casing a is continued up to the cover l, a ring of perforations in the upper part of the casing being surrounded by external sloping flanges.
